We have a total of 4 physicians and 2 nurse practitioners in our practice. 


Barnaby Starr, MD

Dr. Starr, a Yale alumnus,  is a 1982 Graduate of Cornell University Medical College in New York City. He did his pediatric specialty training at the prestigious DC Children's Hospital in Washington, DC.  Dr. Starr has been Board Certified since 1987. He served on the clinical faculty at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and currently teaches for the University of Maryland Medical School.  When Dr. Starr is not in the office, he enjoys cycling and spending time with his wife and three children

Ariela Taub, MD

  Ariela Taub, M.D., was born and raised here in Baltimore, Maryland.  She is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University and the University of Maryland Medical School. She completed her pediatric residency training at West Virginia University Children’s Hospital. Dr. Taub has special practice interest in breastfeeding medicine, developmental pediatrics, and child advocacy. She received the AAP Breastfeeding Lectureship Grant in her first year of residency.  She is also a published poet.  Dr. Taub joined our practice in 2018. She is currently accepting new patients and can also see walk in appointments each day. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her wonderful family and very cute daughter. 


Cynthia Amitin, MD

 Dr. Amitin, a Duke alumna,  is a 1995 Graduate of Temple University in Philadelphia.  She completed her pediatric specialty training at St. Christopher's Children Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Amitin became Board Certified in 1998 and joined our practice in 2002.  She is in the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays. On a personal note, she enjoys movies, traveling and spending time with her husband and two children. 


Robert Ancona, MD

 Dr. Ancona, is a 1972 Graduate of Johns Hopkins University, in Maryland.  He did his pediatric specialty training at Mott's Children's Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Dr. Ancona is also a Pediatric Infectious Disease specialist. He became Board Certified in pediatrics in 1977, and in his sub-specialty in 1994. Dr. Ancona has served many faculty appointments over the years, but currently holds the position of Chief of Pediatrics at St. Joseph's Medical Center, in Towson, Maryland. He has been serving in this capacity since 2001. On a personal note, Dr. Ancona is married, has two children, and recently became a grandfather.

 

Stacy Schwartz, CPNP

   Stacy Schwartz, is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Stacy graduated from the University of Pennsylvania earning a Degree in Nursing in 1987. She earned her Masters Degree at the University of Maryland. Stacy became Board Certified in 1994 and joined our practice in 2003.  Stacy is in the office on Mondays and Thursdays to see sick visits and well visits.  On a personal note, Stacy is married and has 4 children of her own. 


Adina Noff, CPNP

Adina was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. She received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Johns Hopkins University. Since graduating, she has worked at Sinai Hospital in the Neuroscience unit for 2 years and then the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for 5 years. In 2013, she completed her Masters of Nursing at Johns Hopkins University and became a board certified pediatric nurse practitioner. Adina lives in Baltimore with her husband and four young children. She enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
